Grandboss was appalled I don't have a favorite Minion. I've only ever seen the parts of Despicable Me that were on during a brunch at juliana's, and Matilda wasn't explaining that movie to me the way she did Twisted, so I didn't catch much. I may have homework.

Dang. Nephew is 21. That totally snuck up on me.
I don't have a favorite Minion either. They kind of all blend together for me, but I haven't seen the new movie.
I'm not sure what to make of this deal with Iran. I don't especially like how much warning they get with inspections, leaving in place some of their nuclear infrastructure, and easing of the arms embargo. However, having the talks break off without a deal doesn't do anything to stop their nuclear weapons program and I'd worry about Russia and China in particular lifting sanctions and selling arms anyhow. So I guess I'm not trilled, but taking the deal seems better than not taking it. I wish the Republican detractors would explain they would do in place of taking the deal (unilateral sanctions are going to do sh*t), but, practically speaking, there is no political upside to coming up with a alternative.
I don't have much of an opinion on the Iran deal. I'm all upset about Greece, though.

I'm pretty sure it was carpet bombing.

It does seem like implying military action without actually calling for it seems like a popular approach.
I'm all upset about Greece, though. The Greek situation is tragic. More austerity probably isn't going to help their tanked economy and without economic growth the cycle will just continue. Going back to the Drachma would be painful, but I wonder if it might be better in the long run. A debased Drachma might spur more tourism and exports and help regrow the economy. 'course that's awfully easy for me to say when I'm not living in Greece.

"What they have instead are a lot of talking points, MacGuffins, red herrings, and distractions that aim to divert attention from the core issue — hawks' desire to avoid diplomacy and have a war." (according to Yglesias)
They're desperate to have a war they can blame on Obama so the history books they don't control won't have a chance to paint Bush as a warmonger without being able to tar Obama as well.
So about six weeks ago I had a filling fall out of one tooth, and repairs needed on another. I got them repaired. A week or so later, both new fillings had fallen out. I got them repaired and they fell out again. Got them repaired again--now one has fallen out again, the other keeps on rubbing against my tongue, making it sore, and a filling on a third tooth fell out.
Is this sort of thing common or should I be looking for another dentist?
