Lorne: My little prince. Oh…what did they do to you? Angel: Nina…tried to…eat me. Lorne: Oh, you're--medic! You're gonna make it Angel. Just don't stop fighting. Doctor! Is there a Gepetto in the house?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Y'all have good life goals.

Oh, god, someone wants to collect time spent/task info from all of Operations. It would be hard to overstate how much I hate estimating that. If someone wants to follow me around with a stopwatch, fine, but asking me to guess/remember = a world of no.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just emailed someone basically asking why they haven't sent the $2.3 million as promised. I am TERRIFIED we have somehow received it and misplaced it. Ah well.

Our wings are not tired

meara, I think Drew was in MSP for work. Ugh, sick. I hope you feel better soon.

Yes, that is correct. My airport shuttle left at 5 AM central, but I was only out there for one day for a meeting, so it was pretty rough, and now I'm in the midst of a very full work day here in LA.

Domestic first is really more about the first on/first off, and a few other perks. The seats on the plane aren't much better than coach in most cases.

International business is a different story. Lots of more, and if you book your plane carefully (Thank you SeatGuru) then you can make sure you're on something that high real space and a lie flat bed and access to the flight lounges. Those lounges are one of the things that saved my sanity when I had my flight to Dublin go awry a few years ago.

Look in the backs of all the drawers. And the sofa cushions, of course.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Yipes, Jesse! Hope the missing money gets resolved soon, and in your favor.

Hey, I have a student writing about NGOs and global medicine. Any recs for sites or info I should send him?

I was thinking that too. Works like gangbusters when my DH loses his wallet.

Shit! I knew I forgot to look someplace!

Ooh, and the last coat you wore! And last purse you used?

That's kind of a lot of money to misplace!

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

But imagine how exciting when you put on a coat you haven't worn in a while and put your hand in the pocket and find that 2.3 mil you thought you lost!
