I mostly spend thre whole time on a plane reading, so it feeds my bookworm habit.
Way back when, United used to automatically upgrade Mileage Plus members from economy to first class if first class had seats available, so I got several first class flights to and from college. That was nice.
I am grading and ye gads, the sucky papers suck and I am a judgey monster. Who needs to find nice ways of saying, this paper was fine but uninspired and without a huge amount of thought. Still, way easier to grade the mediocre student than the word salad, help me I'm drowning! students who shouldn't have been allowed to bypass the freshman writing requirement.
In terms of flying, used to enjoy flying, but as sinuses got worse, and back got worse, became too unpleasant a journey. Almost a decade ago now, I did attend the Climate COP in Bali all expenses paid. Cheapest airline, but that proved to be a plus - Chinese food cooked by an actual Chinese airline three meals a day for two days. (There was an American food option at every meal, but with Chinese food as the alternative, why would I bother?) That was fun.
In terms of voting, with a drop box close to my house I tend to be lazy and vote at the last minute. But this town is small enough that I'm voting for one candidate because I know him well, and against another - also because I know him well.
My stove top is clean! My new drip pans don't fit, because when landlord replaced it he got a used one of a brand that's not listed under "this type of pan will fit these brands of stoves" on two different styles of pan. So I return those and put up with nasty drip pans. And let whomever has to deal with it next cope with it.
I love flying. Economy class seats suck, and there's always someone smelly or unduly noisy or nosey nearby. But there's also always that second when I'm pressed back into my seat, the wheels leave the ground, and suddenly--flight! Magic every time.

I love that moment too! I've flown first-class once, next to a snuffling mouth-breather who wouldn't close his bright laptop on a night flight, or just blow his damn nose, and the uncomfortably solicitous flight attendant who seemed to think I needed special attention. Nice big seat, but it wasn't worth it.
My voting place is across the street. It's handy.
I flew first class once as a child when we redirected on four different because of a cancelled flight. I slept through most of it. I think flying would be a lot easier for me if I could read while flying, but my motion sickness is too strong. However, if we ever do a UK trip again that requires a lot of train travel, I would pay the extra fee for the first class pass. We took one trip in a first class carriage and it was definitely worth it imho.
I've never flown first-class. I think it's been over ten years since I've flown anywhere. I like flying--it's the non-flying parts that go along with the flying that I hate. Oh, and in the average economy seat my knees are pressed against the seat in front of me, even with it being upright.
I've been taking trains for my long-distance trips, which I love (except that a sleeper car for one person is expensive).
