Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Once I get my bedroom back together, I am getting in my bed and never getting out again.

That sounds right.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Jessica is your son still into Percy Jackson? I have a shirt that says Poseidon Conservation Society. It is not a book or film connected shirt, but mac liked it because it said Poseidon.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Frozen baby carrots work for teething puppies, so I'm certain that's directly transferable to baby humans.

Ha! I didn't use frozen but I did use carrots cold from the fridge. Until those first teeth came in since little bites of carrot would be a choking hazard. But like I said, my kids had a good 4 months or so of toothless teething pain.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Poor little teething babies!

I am having a minir argument with a friend- so I want to know if I am crazy-- Animal Farm is about both communist and capitalist systems not being right, right? Because communism sounds good, but then then pigs become humans! And that is bad! right?

It's inspired by the Soviet revolution, but I think it applies to any political revolution. I'd say that the core message is not so much anticommunist as "Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss."

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Last night's Gothic Witches' Ball was ... well, not the level of event I'm used to attending. Everyone was very sweet, but it was like a prom crossed with a dance at a small con.

Thanks Rick! My friend thinks it is a ringing endorsement of capitalism, and I just don't think it is the case.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Babies are enigmatic. When they get older, they are more verbal but no less enigmatic, unfortunately.

My two are on the coach with football on doing Spanish on the ipad.

I had a totally weird thing happen on the way to the gym. Some lady pulled up next to me and looked at me full on when we were on the street. I pulled in front of her after a block or two and then about a mile later, I pulled into the parking lot at the gym. I had to drive around to find a spot. So I did and fussed with parking. Then when I got out of my car, she was waiting there in her car. Or at least I think it was her. I went up the steps into the gym and she drove away.

Weird, right? Creepier still because she was in a prius so her car was silent and I didn't hear it sneak up on me.
