I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Also: I'm wearing sloth socks right now AIFG. Not from Target, though.

Got enough of what needed doing done, I think. And Bob's Burgers, which was fantastic.

Because books.

Is it possible for a 2 1/2 month old to be teething already?

It is.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Thanks, Amy.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Yes sj, also those teeth can take months to come in. I swear my kids were chewing and drooling from about 6 months, and neither one sprouted teeth until they were close to a year.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Lilly had three teeth by three months, so yes.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Not a parent, but I feel like I read an article recently about how parents attribute all kinds of things to teething that are actually unrelated.

Well that's probably true, Jesse. The fact that infants are notoriously vague about what's bothering them leaves a lot open to interpretation.

After a while I could discern hungry tears from tired tears no problem, but general fussiness was harder to determine.

And really, you might as well say it's teething, if the alternative is "who knows why," right?

I mistimed my morning and now I think I'm going to have to leave with laundry still in the washing machine. Oy. It is also ridiculous how long it took and how proud of myself I am that I just washed my shower curtain.

hip deep in pie

Argh. I just spent an hour vacuuming the upstairs only to discover the vacuum bag had come detached and all that dust is now clinging to the inside of the bag compartment. Did I mention that I am trying to get rid of fleas and want to contain that mess?

Sigh.

Off to dig out the shop vac, so I can vacuum the inside of my vacuum. I think I need lunch first to fortify myself.
