Ugh. Tonight has been unexpectedly tough. DH is in a foul mood and Franny is dithering over her homework, which just makes both of their moods fouler. And I'm trying to keep things in check but it's making me feel frazzled. Oh and I had what might have been the early signs of a migraine today -- headache, spacey, nausea -- but I took some naproxen and that seems to have done the trick (which is good because I don't officially get migraines so I have no actual migraine meds in the house). Now I need to grade student homework before I go to bed.
Too damn long. My days are too damn long. I realized I'm incredibly privileged and should be counting blessings instead of whining, but I find the 6am to 10 or 11pm routine is no longer working for me.
billytea! I think of you surprisingly often.
Hi, Emily!
It's not?? My faith in my knowledge is gravely shaken. Is the Queen not on their stamps? My stamp collection is not easily accessible.
It's still a Crown dependency, so the Queen is their Queen too. But they didn't sign up for a whole bunch of other stuff.
Oo, I like the Penny boot
Okay, back to work now
Now I want pizza. Jeez, body of mine, I have fed you plenty today, be satisfied.
My steroid munchies didn't kick in until (more or less) today, *after* I finished the 6 days' worth of steroids. I have eaten a lot of cookies today, and a big fat burger for dinner from the new place up the street. I hope the munchies leave me alone tomorrow. Although that was a damn good burger.
sending the ma~ to all.
I'm in a wierd place - where i have to deal with stuff, but i don't care , but i do. This suggests winter to me, but we don't have the weather
I just learned a bunch of stuff about the Isle of Man. None of which makes that tv show make any more sense.
Still liking those first boots best.
I think those may be my favorites too, and the price is good.
Do you have a lot of spare goo?
Now I may need to go Wikipedia the Isle of Man.
Burrell, definitely sounds like you need a break. And more sleep, I'd think!
