Lorne: Back in Pylea they used to call me "sweet potato." Connor: Really. Lorne: Yeah, well, the exact translation was "fragrant tuber" but…

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I can't put my finger on who it is, but I have had a relationship with someone who calls me kiddo as an adult. A woman in her 60s. I have no idea who!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I don't know that I use kiddo but it sounds perfectly natural to me and I wouldn't blink at it being used towards anyone regardless of age, relative or absolute, really.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Lee, what speed are you getting through AT&T?

AT&T is what I have been tempted to switch to (mostly due to the incessant DirecTV and AT&T are One ads, but it does seem like the synergy has some benefits for consumers)

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I've never seen anyone raise an eye at kiddo, except in work context where the relationship wasn't sufficient to go there.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Glad to hear it, msbelle!

I hope everyone's days look better tomorrow.

My calls went okay. I had to tell one guy in person, because he's been temping for us, and I had to tell him that he didn't get the permanent job. He cried. So that wasn't great.

I'm watching Key & Peele and having a beer.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Yay, Uncle G!
