I use kiddo, but usually in direct address, not in reference. ie: "Aw, kiddo, I'm sorry." But not "I'll have to ask my kiddo." It's an endearment for us. Because I can't call my adult son sweetie-baby-puddie-pie. Well, not to his face, anyway. But I ain't callin' him 'sir', either.

This pumpkin pie cupcake was very pie like. I think he said she mixed a little flour into basically pie filling? It seemed like maybe it had a little bit of crust, maybe graham cracker crumbs, or maybe one of those recipes that magically produces crust out of the filling as it bakes. Topped with whipped cream frosting, which was delish.

Sorry for everyone's sucky day. Mine was okay until I tried to buy groceries.
