msbelle, all the ~ma for you and your brother.
Wednesday is being a worse Monday than Monday was. I am so over this bullshit, I'm tempted to email my resignation right now.
Matt, I like the whitewashed wood mural.
Personally, I would hate to have to negotiate anything next to the distressed wood wall (retrieving dropped objects, plugging in an electric cord, etc.) without splinters, and it will collect dust and lint and cobwebs like crazy unless you're dedicated to dusting it.
Beverly, if I'm reading the description right, the wood wall is also a mural, printed on vinyl. It just looks super-realistic.
None of them are real wood that would require dusting or give splinters, if I am reading the descriptions correctly.
I'm sorry, Maria. I'm also not sure resigning would be the wrong choice, but you know what you need better than I.
My coworker gave me half a pumpkin pie cupcake. Nom nom nom. Good coworker, he can stay. Apparently his wife bakes when she is stressed out, and the world is stressing her out right now. I feel a little bad for taking advantage of her suffering, but yum.
-t, neither am I, but the idea of looking for another job fills me with dread. I don't know where to go from here, but it's not staying in the industry I'm in. I also feel like there's something wrong with me, because I'm bitching about another job. I don't want to be all "Princess and the Pea"-like.

I wish I did that. I just eat.
I am kind of regretting going back to work today.
I hear you on the dread, Maria. I have stayed in pretty crappy jobs because looking for work is something I really do not enjoy. Pretty sure it's not you that there's something wrong with - the specific things you have complained about are objectively wrong and bad, I think.

Sorry, Maria and Kate. Love to you both.
I have to go call the people I have not hired for a job. I've been putting it off all day. Ugggh.
Today is like a thousand Monday's crammed together. I've been ranting on Facebook - corporate ran some software update that deleted MS Project from my computer. An essential program for my job. In getting that fixed this morning, I have now lost Excel, Word, Outlook, Skype... and the IT tech is stumped. My problem has been escalated to the next level and I "should" hear back within 30 minutes. We will see.
Meanwhile, I'm twiddling my thumbs in Salt Lake City, rescheduling my back to back meetings cause I CAN'T DO MY JOB. THE WHOLE REASON I'M OUT HERE.
::Deep breath:: Maria, sorry work is being a bitch to you. Kate, returning sucks no matter when you do it. Amyth, may the calls go as smoothly as possible.
Oh, oh, oh...and now I'm stuck waiting for IT to call, so no lunch for Suzi. Didn't really have breakfast, just a Luna bar on my way to the airport. Snarl!
