I need to make another pot of fennel-carrot soup for Frances so she has something to bring to school for her lunches. She's a bit of a picky eater anyway, and she can only eat soft foods for the next few days. We've been kind of cheating by pretending that crepes and ramen noodles qualify as soft foods, but neither one works for her school lunches.

Mm, fancy soft foods!
Seriously -- I'm pretty sure back in My Day, this is when the fluffernutter on wonder bread was deployed.
Lee, as you know, M will call you soon. He can also answer your questions re: the Nest.
When I was feeding myself soft foods it was pretty much all pudding, jello and protein shakes.
Well, grass and what-have-you is cut. Halfway through edging, the plastic spool the weedeater's line was coiled on disintegrated, so I think I'm probably done with yard work for today. Does not feel like I accomplished much of anything this weekend.
Maybe dinner will help.
When I had my tooth removed I ate a lot of mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, protein shakes, applesauce and I think there as something else.
Pudding and jello.
Lived off cauliflower and leek soup with all my crowns. And in summer, froz banana soy milk milkshakes. And I made my black bean chile and puréed it in the blender. Oh, and those shelf stable Indian pouches, mostly madras lentil. So maybe not just the cauliflower soup.
I think I did get some broccoli and cheese soup in there, come to think of it. I was mostly all about stuff I could buy ready-to-eat and packaged in individual servings, though.
OK, got clothes to wear tomorrow, and I know I have a clean towel. Leftover eggs for breakfast and thawing stuff I can eat for lunch and dinner. I don't know about the rest of the week, but tomorrow I should be able to manage some semblance of normal life.
