Mm, noodles.
Yeah, not even if I tried!
I feel the urge to put this out there - nobody take that as a challenge, ok? Let's just all give wedding gifts that are Not That Bad.
I did try some of the pumpkin spice pumpkin seeds, chewing carefully on the other side of my mouth, and they are pretty damn good!
Tomorrow's MARATHON DAY!! I've borrowed the tambourine and am filling cans with pennies for Anna ( next door) because she wanted noisemakers too. Will probably see the leaders on the way back from market.
Pumpkin has been cone free for 40 minutes. Of course, she's bundled up in the blanket, asleep. But she did some acceptable washing.
Sara, thanks for talking to my mom on fb. I swear they all think I am like a day away from the deep dark blues.
No problem! We'll sell her on the long term schemings:)
Fitzgerald Grant: Bad for Olivia, bad for America.
OMG, that guy is the fucking worst.
I once gave friends a humongous Elvis beach towel that looked like a black velvet painting for their wedding gift. It was given with the knowledge that they'd love it, though.
Are there people who wouldn't love a black velvet Elvis painting/beach towel? How very strange.
So I have 4 kids in the house right now, two boys, two girls. Girls are doing each other's make-up, boys are turning the bunk beds into a blanket fort, and DH is out getting vanilla ice cream for dessert. Other moms are settling in to an evening with AHS I hear. Not a bad way to end an unnecessarily stressful week.
I haven't watched this week or last week's Scandal yet, but I'm confident I can agree that Fitz is the worst,
Burrell's evening sounds pretty darn good.
So, I went to my first shabbat tonight in preparation for my darling stepson's bar mitzvah tomorrow. It was a lovely, lovely ceremony, & I am glad that I had the opportunity to see it. My stepson is handsome, smart, articulate, and he did such a magnificent job tonight, & I can't wait to see how he does tomorrow.
I'm in Allentown right now until Sunday way early in the morning when we leave, & I have had a lovely time with my husband, my mother in law and amazingly enough my son's extended family.
I was honored to participate in a reading with M's mother, and also honored to open the ark with M, his dad, mom, stepdad, baby half-brother and infant half-sister.
On a shallow note, my panic about an appropriate outfit for the evening was actually praised by many people, & I was told that I look absolutely lovely. Which made me feel very happy and very secure, because I was very nervous about it.
Looking forward to the ceremony tomorrow and the party afterword! M picked a special song for me to dance with him with!
I adore him.
aww, Strix. this is how it is supposed to be. So glad you are having a good time
