"Oh, well, you know teenage girls" and shrugged.
With the uteruses and the whatnot. Who can even TRY to understand it? Not science!
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

man, drs of a certain age dealing with young females are assholes, mostly male drs from my experience and what I've been told.
The rheumatologist who diagnosed my fibro when I was 20, told me I should not be so upset because I was pretty.
You know how those wombs wander!
A DJ at bra shopping seems like disincentive to shop, really. Ew.
When I get up to pee in the night, I try to only open one eye.
Hah--whereas while I don't turn the lights on, I do try to make sure my eyes are open and I'm awake because I have this fear that if I pee half-asleep I'll get used to it and eventually someday pee while totally asleep, in bed? Or get co fused or something? Not exactly sure my reasoning but my eyes are always wide open.
Yeah, jeez, what's chronic pain next to the guaranteed-no-worries of being pretty?
Starlight through my skylight usually makes my bathroom brighter than the rest of my rooms. Even cloudy (brighter, actually, because of reflected streetlight.) And it is literally around the corners, so.
right? and he had just told me I had the muscles of like a 60 year old and the condition was degenerative with no cure. Since I was having trouble going up stairs at that point I was NOT OK.
turns out my fibro is not that bad comparatively if I do things like sleep, don't binge drink, and take some meds, but I did not know that at the time and neither did he.
eta - look at that numberslut I got.
I think I have a similar fear, meara. I don't know that I do anything about it, but that is striking a chord.
Mmm, I would love to have a skylight. My bathroom just has a tiny north-facing window that looks onto the covered patio, even during the day it's pretty dim in there. Which is actually nice in the summertime, because it also stays fairly cool.
That may be the most radical version a guy telling you to smile so he's not uncomfortable that I've heard, msbelle. Damn.
I second sarameg's praise of our dentist office. They are the best! I was just talking about them today with another friend who goes there.
I love our skylight in our redone bathroom. You can't really see out it but it lets a ton of light in directly over the bathtub/shower.
