this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

The taco place in my neighborhood that had a duck taco (along with a mashed potato taco, a Korean beef taco, and Taco O'the Moment such as the Thanksgiving taco or the brisket and mac&cheese taco) abruptly closed 2 months ago. I am still in mourning.

Of course, being my neighborhood, it still has 2 taco places left. Trufax.

Nothing at the NYC ComicCon for me, but I might actually attend the San Diego one this year since I FINALLY got off my ass and applied for professional credentials.

I need to learn (different lesson from the above) is that if I wake up at 2 or 3 am and think maybe taking a painkiller might be a good idea, I should just get up and do that, not toss and turn until it's actually time to get up

It certainly seems like every time I stand at my front door thinking "I feel like I'm forgetting something" I am, in fact, forgetting something. At least it wasn't something very important today. That one's just an observation, I don't think I can put that knowledge to use in any way.
