Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Tonight we went to observe a fencing class, Casper's new interest, and she said, "They look sort of dorky." I was like, "Honey..." and she said, "I know, I'm actually kind of dorky myself."

I'm obviously super biased here, but I'm'a say ONE OF US for so many reasons.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

So, hooking up the new router means I have to get all my devices talking to the internet again, which means typing out my needlessly complicated network password with my DVR remote control. I knew there was a reason I wasn't upgrading my modem and this is probably it.

Good morning.

...don't have much else as its central time and I haven't yet had my coffee. But am already at work.

Good morning. I am debating getting coffee on my way to work. Don't really have time, but...coffee.

Did not stop for coffee. Which is okay, stopping would have meant I could get decaf, the office just has fully caffeinated and that's probably okay today. Coming into the office at all, otoh, I'm beginning to feel was a mistake. Bleah.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I have an appointment to do a free health screening at work that I'm blowing off because it wouldn't let me cancel it. I just couldn't get up early enough to be at the office by 8am. Not happening.

Too many other things need to get done today, though. I even wore my Captain America socks to remind me not to shirk.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Some good news that cheered me up: today is the fist day you can get McDonalds breakfast food anytime of the day.

McDonalds breakfast stuff is the only thing I ever eat there.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

McDonald's hash browns > fries. Always. I feel like going to get some hash browns right now. But I won't, because I'm lazy.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I read an article yesterday that said that some locations aren't going to be able to offer the hash browns as part of the all day breakfast because they don't have another fryer.
