Thinking someone is attractive is not the same thing as being attracted to them, tho.

Totally. I think a crapton of people are attractive. But I'm attracted to about 2 of them. (Definitely 1, duh, and probably another.)

t edit For me, "attractive" = "there is something(s) about you that I am drawn to," while "attracted to" = "I have pantsfeelings for you."

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I'm an outlier, but I'm quite attracted to individuals, while not remotely entertaining the notion of having sex with them. Sexual attraction isn't something I experience, though I definitely appreciate beauty. I lust for conversation.

Our wings are not tired.

I lust for conversation.

Yep. I am quite delighted to gaze upon attractive individuals, but it isn't a requirement for me to be attracted.

In college we referred to that as a non-sexual crush.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The NOAA keeps revising Joaquin's track further and futher out to sea. DC looks to be in the clear, although NYC is still in his sights. Sorry Boston.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good thing I have lots of important people coming from out of town for a meeting on Tuesday morning!

I don't know if they've changed things, but what I read this morning said that the "average" track was actually two very separate possibilities, so not really likely.

Yeah, see -- right at Sue! Or further south, or totally off to the east. [link]

I am returned from French Polynesia! tl;dr It was amazing and Lee and I didn't want to go home.

I foolishly thought I'd go to the office today, but it turns out that I'm too jetlagged to do anything but work from my couch and occasionally the kitchen table. At some point this weekend, I will hook up my digital camera to the computer and start processing all the photos. (Everything on FB thus far was taken with with my smartphone camera.) And finish unpacking. And move all the furniture back to where it was. It turned out that I didn't need new apartment keys, but I do have new windows which are so much nicer than the old crank windows.
