And Kaylee, what the hell's goin' on in the engine room? Were there monkeys? Some terrifying space monkeys maybe got loose?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Have y'all seen that residents of New York, New Hampshire, Louisiana and Minnesota may require passports (or similar) soon just to fly domestic?

Yep! Glad I have my passport.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

for Louisiana declining to upgrade the security standards was openly and explicitly "na na you can't make me" to the Feds.

As it has been for so many state decisions. For a long damn time. Sigh.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Plus those places that some TSA agents don't believe are part of the U.S. Like Washington, D.C. Bet people in New Mexico sometimes get it too.

I'm told it actually rained today here. Well, drizzled. I didn't see it, the outside world is just a rumour and a fading memory at the moment.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I just got scolded by an insurance agent. Bitch, I called you for a quote, not judgement. I've had two minor accidents this year after ten or more years with not one incident. She's lucky I really want this quote.

That doesn't seem like a smart thing for an agent to do. Jeesh.

OK, tuns out I CAN do this Powerball thing. Do I just go to 7-11 and ask for a ticket or do I need to pick numbers, how does this work? If I win I will, of course, get us an island or village or ghost town first thing.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You can just let them pick the numbers. I forgot!

Also, I'm so glad for this conversation, as my passport is expiring in less than 6 months, and it seems somewhat likely that I'll be going somewhere with the six-month rule soon.

Don't get caught Jesse! Get that passport up to date!

I want to go somewhere that needs a passport. (I mean, I was in Canada in June but that hardly counts)

-t, you can pick (you fill out a little scantron thing) OR you can have them pick (the computer picks it). It's $2/ticket.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

My passport doesn't expire until 2019. We are going to need one for the little guy once the legal stuff's done, so we can go to FilkOntario in April.

Our wings are not tired

I've got my current passport and am making sure my employees do as well. We just got an inquiry about a job in Macau that could lead to some other work in Asia. Don't know yet if it will come to fruition, but I've got my fingers crossed.

I have my Global Entry interview next month so that air travel will hopefully be a little more streamlined as well.
