I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

No adulting here, beyond feeding myself dinner.

It's 100 on the patio and 89 in the house, time for a tepid bubble bath with a trashy novel.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Well, that took three hours to get home.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Well, that took three hours to get home.

Boo! Dislike! At no point did Dana apply for a shitty commute.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

New thread, though I'm irrationally attached to the old thread.

Maria, I'm sorry. Is he doing the review before or after vacation?

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Kat, tomorrow. At lunch. Boss is driving from Richmond to PA. To have lunch. And give me my deadline. I can't even. I'm ready to give up.

It's no longer accidentally hitting First and seeing her words as I desperately click Recent because I can't even but I guess I didn't mind that prick so much as I thought. I'm stubborn and contrary in everything.

Uhg.

Yep, sara. You and me both. I did it all the time.

Oh, Maria, that sucks. I am so sorry.

Impossible = still impossible.

I am teetering on the verge of rage. Grace had an appointment, made 3 months ago, for a test tomorrow at Children's (BANE of my existence). It's the second in a series of endo tests to see if she should be getting growth hormone. There was no call from the nurse with instructions, but I figured she'd have to fast before. I just couldn't remember if it was also a water fast. So, I called endo at 3:30 to figure it out.

At 5:00 PM they call back to reschedule because their nurse has had an emergency and won't be in the next day. WHAT? You only have one nurse that can do this test? So pissed. This was after the endo himself called to reschedule an appointment because he was waiting for the results from this test.
