I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Apparently!

Those are all terrific, JZ!

Oh, wait, Halloween is on Saturday this year. That changes everything. Maybe. Typically I wear a costume to work and that's kind of it. Hm.

Aw, Yogi Berra passed away.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Aw, Yogi Berra passed away.

He had a pretty good run. 90 years old, I'm reading.

Wow, a world without Yogi Berra is definitely diminished.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I didn't realize he was still alive.

Why am I back at work? Vacation was way better.

I'm slightly disappointed that this Halloween I will be at a non-costume wedding. Especially when I was in the gift shop at the WWII museum dreaming of Peggy Carter cosplay.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

We will have trick or treater's this year! I haven't had any since I moved to Colorado! Now I know of at least 8 kids that live within 4 houses of us. With the dog, I figure I'll need to hang out on the front porch...so must come up with a costume. Hmmmmm. Will be curious to see how much the neighborhood decorates for the holiday.

I'm in the office. We moved buildings since I was last here. We have a 4 building campus, so it wasn't THAT big of a move, but still...new digs for me. I'm sharing a cube but I've never met the person and apparently she comes in about as often as I do. I only had 2 boxes to unpack and she has 6 boxes. I've done my best to keep my stuff compact and on less than half the office space.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Two dollars.

I'm gonna say that would be appropriate even at a non-costume wedding. Stylish!

Didn't you just get a new shared cube a little while ago, Suzi? I remember you worrying about how much space to take up with your stuff...

Didn't ask for no dime, Scola.

Eeeeeeeeeeee Starbucks order-on-the-phone-and-pickup is available in my area! I am delaying testing it out (with the new Fall flavored latte customized to my specifications) until I have worked in the yard a couple of hours because I am a responsible adult. Yes.

Yeah, people will just think you're retro rather than dressed for Halloween!

Punishingly Intricate

WHAT?! Why would you have your wedding on Hween and not have it be at least optionally costume??

I've been trying to re-do my resume as a skills-based one, rather than just chronological, and it's the hardest thing ever. It's worse than doing annual reviews!Or, possibly, I'm very lazy. (I'll leave that out of the resume.) But I promised my friend who's doing job coaching with me that I'd send him a draft by the end of the day today so I HAVE to work on it. But I'm actually working at two different jobs today. Stupid procrastination!
