I've been using External Transfer to pay SunTrust from my CU, but now that gives me an error message (even though the rep said there was no problem with it on their side) so I can't use it. I will set up my CU Bill Pay to pay it, but that won't solve the immediate problem, which is that I need to make a past-due payment in order to use the card again, and I've now made that payment
twice
and it still hasn't posted.
Is it normal for a credit card to be frozen if there's a past due amount, even though there's still a balance available? That's never happened to me before.
They obviously really want me to open a new checking account with them. I ain't gonna. Five years of their BS is more than enough. I don't have a mortgage with them anymore, so there's no reason I have to stay in this rather abusive relationship.
Oh, I see. That sucks.
I think I've had a credit card frozen if I missed a payment. Or I made the payment at 2:05 my time and it has to be in by 5 Eastern. It's one of those card-provider-discretion things, probably. Sometimes they'll just charge you a fee, sometimes they'll freeze the card.
Plus, their reps keep giving me incorrect information. Not helping. It's ridiculous. I'm going on a business trip next week, and I have to pay for everything up front and get reimbursed. I need this card. The rep told me if I made a payment at a branch it would be posted the same day. Whoops, that's not true.
Of course it's all going to work out okay; I'll just take money from my savings account instead. It's just a bunch of aggravation that triggers my anxiety and requires more energy to avoid a depression spiral. Also, being lied to just pisses me off.
Well of course it does. Ass 'em in the ear.
What a pain, Zen.
Do I have the first spotting of pumpkin spice bagels?
I wish Publix would send its baggers to TJ's to learn how to use reusable bags. It is not a contest to see how many things can be stuffed into one bag.
Do I have the first spotting of pumpkin spice bagels?
Yes, given that SUCH A THING DOES NOT EXIST
Pumpkin spice "bagels" - [link]
Admittedly, Thomas' bagels are, at best, round bread.
Excellent use of scare quotes. Ginger.
So, I'm having a pomegranate as part of my lunch - of all the many Right Ways to Eat a Pomegranate that are floating around the internet I think I have found the one that works best for me, finally. It made me think, as it often does, that six pomegranate seeds is not much sustenance. And then, as I had more peel to wrangle, I got to wondering how the laws of hospitality that Paris violated by running off with Helen while he was Agamemnon's guest were related to Persephone eating Hades' food meaning she had to stay. Does anyone know?
(Hahahaha autocorrect, however I misspelled 'hospitality" I did not mean "hostility")
I don't think I've actually tried Thomas' bagels, in my head they are English muffins with holes in them.
Wait. They aren't?!
And let's be clear , the only time English bagels are acceptable is when you are living in Belgium and visiting London.
