Thanks so much, everybody! She's already met one Buffista (not counting me, Aims, or MM), Megan Walker, and I can't wait to introduce her to more of you.

PS your story is more or less exactly how my grandparents got together. They dated very briefly in high school, then went their separate ways, (during which my grandmother married someone else), then reconnected after the war and were engaged after 5 days.

Kat...you registered your dissenting opinion too late! I tried to call the optometrist to order the titanium frames. But there was a communications snafu, so presumably I could still revert when I talk to him Monday.
