We didn't have sex, if that's what you mean. That's all I do now, not have sex.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Suzi, that's a great vote of confidence, and yet, why would you want a position he's just described as horribly frustrating.

This is my problem! But my current job is pretty frustrating anyway, and at least the promotion would set me up better for my next job? I would basically be looking to leave right now if everyone else hadn't beaten me to it! But now I have to stay for the team, at least for a while. So I might as well try to be the boss.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

hmm ... they should add Zouk to So You Think You Can Dance

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So I had two appointments today: orthodontist to pick up aligners, and haircut. Call this morning from the ortho that the aligners haven't arrived yet. Call just now from the hairdresser's pointing out that the big watermain break is basically outside their door, so they have no water. Which actually means I can come any time, because all of her other appointments were for color! And since I'm off work today, I haven't even showered, so I'm just going to head over there with wet hair in a bit.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Just what I was thinking, Toddson

We have a short day today, woohoo! I want to go see a movie, but I should go home and mow my lawn. Maybe if I get my lawn mowed I can see a movie after? But Friday night movie is a whole different vibe than Friday afternoon.

I would basically be looking to leave right now if everyone else hadn't beaten me to it! But now I have to stay for the team, at least for a while. So I might as well try to be the boss.

I follow your logic, but that still seems really weird to me.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I would basically be looking to leave right now if everyone else hadn't beaten me to it! But now I have to stay for the team, at least for a while. So I might as well try to be the boss.

Better to rule in hell than be a peon in hell? Can't argue with that.

I don't know, I just have a peon mentality.Reigning in Hell has never sounded appealing to me.

Someone brought in Krispy Kreme, hooray! I was just wishing for something sweet.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I love the way you play with you and your brother, Steph.

He knew I was trolling him, damn it. I have to work harder at it next time.

And yet, *I* am not the family member who's made him regret joining FB. Our mother lectured him that he needs to not post inappropriate things on FB. Mind you, he had not posted anything inappropriate; she just wanted to prevent it. He's 39 years old, mom. Seriously????

(He and I are currently texting back and forth, trash-talking the DSM 5. Because that's how we roll.)

Oh, moms on Facebook.

Mine is not even registered. I think my dad is but he finds it a waste of time and never reads or posts anything, afaik. Pretty nice for me. And for the grandchildren, probably.

Also, moving my own cheese. I'm definitely going to have one new boss, but maybe I can avoid having two new bosses!

And my morning worked out perfectly! Washed my own hair, got it cut (at a discount!), the place I wanted to have lunch was open, the ortho called me back, so I went right there after, then grocery shopped, now home. A very successful three hours!

Maria, my recollection was that the subQ fluid bags and needles were in the 15-20 dollars a bag range. But that's based on memory and not checking receipts, so take it with a grain of salt.
