So apparently Michael Brown, of "Heckuva job, Brownie" fame, wrote an article a couple of days ago entitled "Stop Blaming Me for Hurricane Katrina."
I have not read it, and I will not, but I want to SET HIM ON FIRE.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

You could use a dried up old Bush for kindling.
Jesus. That's horrible.
I am home, which is not horrible, but it is too hot to do much of anything. Going on a ghost walk in a few hours, I hope it cools down by then. I think dinner will be cold roast beef, maybe some raw mushrooms and zucchini. And wine? Have not decided.
ETA, oh, maybe I'd better do candles now since I'm going out. Which means "Yes, wine".
Ghost walk?
I want to leave work now, especially since I am pretty surte I am done working for the day, but I can't yet.
Some kind of tour with actual paranormal investigators. I have very little idea what to expect. Going with a coworker who also lives in Suisun and is also curious.
It's cooler outside than in so I have pointed the fans at the rabbit and brought my wine, candles, and a couple of paperbacks outside. Walter has chosen to join me, or a fan would be pointed at him.
I've used Stitch Fix a few times, and by the third shipment I really loved all the clothes they sent - they really do listen to the feedback you give them. But they only go up to size 14 (the last time I checked), so I can't use them again until I lose some weight.

Sounds fun!
I am baking chocolate gooey butter cake. Once it's out of the oven I need to take a shower and figure out what I'm wearing to the club. Also I've had a couple glasses of wine--this bottle of vinho verde is much better than the other one I bought recently. Mm.
We love to do Ghost Walks! We've done them in Boston, San Francisco, Charleston, Wilmington (NC), London (Jack the Ripper tour), Key West. So fun (and we're total non-believers)!
I am either going to buy myself a custom eshakti dress or a something off my polyvore page for my trip to NYC, but I am not going to do it until time is closer. If I keep losing weight I might be a size smaller. motivation.
