That's why I don't run my dryer if I'm not in the apartment. Despite their best efforts, I don't think my cats are actually capable of digging their way out through a wall should the need to escape arise.

Catching up...brenda, I'm glad the fire was contained to the dryer though I hope the damage is repairable. Scary shit there.
I am guilty of turning the dryer on and leaving, either the house or to go to bed. I should probably not do that.
Today is full of meetings when I'd rather curl up with a book and read/nap the day away. Blast this paycheck thing.
