Did my part to support my Y pool program and got my car washed. Those guys took serious offense to some of the spots I've never had any luck with. Kelli was laughing at them and rolling her eyes. "Guys and cars. Now I know why they make fun of me for my dirty car."
And they'll be open tomorrow!

mac is furious with me. He wants to go to the schoolyard nearby, but not super nearby and try out some bar exercises. This schoolyard is empty almost all the time and he does not go there with friends on a regular basis, so it is not as if he is a known face around there. He wants to go by himself and I won't let him. Either I go with the dog and walk the 2 block perimeter sidewalk while he does his thing, or he gets friends to go with him.
I am terrified of letting him go to an empty place by himself. If it was a more used park where there would be people milling about, walking, kids playing, that would be different. This is absolutely the situations where my head goes to worse case scenarios.
My sense of smell has disappeared. I'm assuming it's because I have a cold, but my nose isn't stuffed up. It's so weird to breathe in through my nose and have there be no smell at all. I slathered myself with Vick's. I have something cooking in a crock pot. I used bleach.
My world is all askew.

IDK, potato and pepperoni salad sounds pretty good to me.
I accidentally put more mustard than I meant to in the salad, which actually makes pepperoni seem more appealing with it? So that's good.
He really does not like my response to this stuff which is now. "I can deal with you mad at me, I can not deal with you dead. Sorry, that is what my fear is and you just have to deal with it."
I'm sorry you have to have that worry, msbelle, but I totally see why you do.
