Oh, Juliebird, I'm so sorry, for you and your family. I hope you can all come together and heal.

I'm so sorry, Juliebird, wishing your family peace and strength.
Grief is never a straight road, but it is always rougher when there are lots of unresolved feelings. Please be gentle and forgiving with yourself, and with those you love when you can.
I'm sorry Juliebird. Burrell and others have wiser words than I.
I'm sorry, Juliebird. Hope you can all find peace.
So the online pool schedule is wrong (shocker) and the next session is at 5, not 4. I thought about walking around the park for an hr&half, but decided it was a bit warm for that. Back over in a bit.
I'm so sorry, Juliebird. I hope you and your family are able to find peace together.
Condolences, juliebird. You are totally allowed to be angry and sad and anything else you need to be.
I am so sorry, Juliebird. I wish you and your parents all possible peace. And your anger is appropriate and necessary. Vibes to all of you as you get through the immediate aftermath and all the tasks that need doing.
Made up some ham/cheese/pasta salad, with added olives. Initial taste test is good, it's in the fridge becoming one with itself. I think I'm going to add a touch of mustard with the next batch for a touch more flavor. I cooked too much pasta for the bowl I'd mixed everything else in, so I had to scrounge up another bowl for a cheese and pasta variant.
In addition, the kitchen now works the way I need it to, with the tools I want to use and almost the room I want to work with. I was even able to wash up what dishes were there while I waited for the pasta to cook.
So sorry for your loss, Juliebird. Much peace and healing to you and your family.
Well, that was the first time I had that rando conversation at the pool! 20 somethingish guy hanging in the pool with his friends remarked that I really swam a long time. (I get that all the time.) Then he asked if I had a fish tattoo. To my negative, he got kinda excited. You need one of those flying fish, the kind that look like birds! Or a Pisces! Oh and he's a tattoo artist! He calls over some of his friends to display his art. Gotta say, it was some beautiful work. Told me where to find the shop he works out of, with Baltimorese directions (and I actually would be able to find it.)
One helluva pitchman, and he certainly read me well, except for the fact I don't plan on ever getting a tattoo.
Quite a few other folks got the treatment, and if he left the pool without new customers tonight, I'd be shocked.
I love this city.
