I really expected to feel relief. I'd basically resolved to never speak to or see him again, but I forgot about those who lived with him, dealt with him, cared for him. For him, I'm glad it's over. For my poor oblivious father in sorry that his prayers and enabling didn't help, and that he and mum drew the line at funding rehab programs. Because the money you parted with on bail was well-spent.
Okay, angry and shutting up.
