Marco: Do we look reasonable to you? Mal: Well. Looks can be deceiving. Jayne: Not as deceiving as a low down dirty... deceiver.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I've seriously considered it. But it might make me hate writing. Until I decide, I'm just going to keep telling myself Literotica is career research.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Here's the superwoman femdom writer I recommend: [link]

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Not hating that, either. I may not end up writing it, but I have a lot more reading to do!

I think I know (of?) that person. For Internet values of "know".

The fetish porn is what the firefighter wrote!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Ugh. I stayed at work late to fix a server problem, but the shift-worker who's supposed to be here at this time is nowhere to be found. I'm wondering how long I should wait for him to show up before I give up on this.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I vote that when he arrives, all he finds is a note stating "NO FIX FOR YOU!" attached to the server with a dagger.

Forget it, I'm out of here.

Good call!

This girl tried swimming anyway and got in a full session. And I was the only one in the whole damned pool the first half hour. Crazy.

Then we had crazy storms.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ugh. After several days of seeming progress on all fronts, today has been nothing but obstacles. Beginning with my work computer not working properly so I can't get to my files. The ones I need for teaching, of course!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Argh. Cracked my phone's screen (fell out of my shirt pocket when I bent over, just like last time. I am not doing a good job of learning from my mistakes, though I guess it did take me over a year to do it again). Not sure what I'm going to do about that.

Other than that a good day, though. Laser tag and miniature golf turned out to be in separate locations, and I didn't get to the golf, but laser tag was really fun. And we had credits to play the arcade games that don't give you tickets to redeem for prizes, which included pinball. I played a lot of pinball in college, and I haven't entirely lost my touch. Definitely haven't lost my ability to get totally absorbed in playing pinball.

My periodontist appointment tomorrow got moved from 10:20 to noon, which means putting in more work before I leave but makes it that much less probable that I will go back to the office afterwards. I'm not above starting my weekend early in this circumstance, I think.
