Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Fantastic, Tep! Print out that one line in huge letters to hand right at eye level while you work.
I wanted to reply "Oh my god which paragraphs please tell me which ones so I can obsessively review them and try to glean what I managed to not fuck up just tell me the page numbers that they're on and I'll guess TELL ME PLEASE."
I am perhaps a little tense today.
Good Will and Salvation Army thrift stores will be a gold mine of previously-outgrown clothes. Depending on whether outgrowing kid is going to be fashion-conscious in last year's discards, anyway.
Am I merely within my rights, un-neighborly or unnaturally predatory if I pick the ripe ripe raspberries that the neighbor's bountiful bushes are intruding berry-bearing branches into my yard?
To HAVE right at eye level. Jeez, I used to be able to type pretty reliably.
I hate when that happens, shrift. The crisis-mode overwhelming everything else, not the loathing everybody. I kind of enjoy loathing everybody while I'm in the middle of it. To be honest, I can enjoy crisis-mode, too, if it's a real crisis and not made up bs that is only an emergency in that someone (not me) might be inconvenienced.
ION, my salad was tasty but too small. I shouldn't have divided it up into 4 jars. 3 maybe. Reportioning the remaining three seems like a lot of trouble, though.
I see an early dinner in my future.
If they are into your yard, you're within your rights. I know you are allowed to prune your neighbor's plants if they cross your property line, surely that includes harvesting delicious raspberries.
[possibly a California rule, but it's sensible]
I suppose removing berries from a branch is technically pruning it.
Timelies all!
Ugh, more rain. I wish I could direct most of it to California and other drought-ridden places, but I do not have that power.
Sheryl, agreed. We're getting so much rain in Chicago that we're getting flood updates.
I hate when that happens, shrift.
I finally pulled myself together and wrote up a thing about what projects I'm on and things we can do in the future. My senioritis is setting in hard now that I'm transferring.
Berries on your side are berries for you.
I let my pinky stick out slightly when I drink from a cup. I don't force it out, I let it do what it will. There's not room on the handle for all the fingers, and I find it helps with balance. I think if someone commented on it, I'd do my best Miss Manners pleasant gaze and say, "I'm sorry the state of the world's pinkies troubles you so."
And this time tomorrow I will be in Vegas!
In Jack likes carrots news (can dogs eat carrots?), we took him to the vet today to get him a thorough check up and the vet had tons of compliments on him. His bump on his face appears to be scar tissue and not an abcess. She did a quick needle suck and the fluid was nothing to be worried about. No ear ticks, beautiful teeth and so on. She estimates that he was a December puppy, so about 7 months old.
KCD's brother is in town from Tennessee. The CJ has spent time over there visiting, but tonight will be the only chance K-Bug has the chance to see him. K-Bug has tried to open communication with KCD with limited success so this might be a VERY stilted dinner. I wish I could be a fly on the wall.
