Yeah, we're building a race of frog-people. It's a good time

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Visited the last of the official NIH child care centers today. Also visited a (relatively) local Kindercare center, which had an opening. So Monday, when the little guy turns 6 weeks old, he goes to day care. Also, I go back to work tomorrow.(Gary's staying home tomorrow and Friday)

The bride marched down the aisle from the altar and one-punched her into unconsciousness, then resumed the wedding.

You know, that's the kind of wedding where you don't have to wonder if the bride's really committed to the guy. For the right sort of groom--and it certainly seems like this one is that sort--it would be a touching story to tell the grand-kids. "And then Grandma laid Trixie out--with one punch!--and proceeded to marry my ass proper." "Yay, Grandma!" And Grandma in the kitchen muttering "Stupid bitch had her chance, he's my man now."

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

By the way, have y'all been watching Scrotal Recall on Netflix?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Man, I just had such a good massage that I think I left my brain in a puddle on the floor under the table. I definitely fell asleep a couple of times. I'm glad I don't have much else to do today.

Ah, the first end of school kid drop off of the new school year. I expected more chattering from the kids.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh god, Maria, how terrible. I'm sorry.

Holy crap, that's horrible, Maria.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Thanks, everyone. It's absolutely terrible for his family. His life choices don't make the outcome surprising, but his mother is all torn up that she didn't do enough to keep her son on the right path or get him off of the wrong one. He was headed to Tampa at the end of the month to live with his uncle and get a fresh start. The gun and drug culture continue to rack up victims.
