Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good news, Consuela!

On the scrape front, I guess I recommend not doing nothing, because a couple really minor scrapes I got last summer are still visible and it's annoying. They were so minor, I didn't think to treat them at all!

I just closed the tab, so I don't have the link handy, but everyone should read the GQ profile of Stephen Colbert.

We have a corpse flower in bloom in Denver. People are flipping out to go smell the thing. I'll pass, personally. When they hand out barf bags just to check out a flower...ummmm, pass.

corpse flower

It's amazing how large they can get. But yeah, I wouldn't want to smell one, either.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Seriously. He's my new Yoda. Here's the link.

Yay job!

On opposite job news front, we are letting someone go here today. He was upset with work stuff last week, went home got drunk (we suspect) and sent texts with threats. Very specific killing people threats. Not me, mind you. Things are a wee tense while we all wait for him to get here. He was not here the last two days, told to stay home on suspension.

Yikes, msbelle.

Huh, I can't get to b.org though my work Internet, but I can using the free WiFi from The Gap downstairs. My workplace Internet is just a residential AT&T connection (until the real thing gets hooked up) with a simple Linksys router so I'm pretty sure nothing is being blocked. Weird.

Ah. Our Internet is just plain down. I could still use websites I was already connected to, but once I disconnect then it's all over. Guess I'll stick with The Gap for now.

And it is done and over and he is gone and no drama at all. Thank dog. I work on a truck yard and offices are a trailer, so no building security. It's Texas. All these guys have guns. Many of them make bad impulsive decisions, so I do get on edge when there is an issue. Now I'll be coming down from the being wound upness of it all.
