Argh. Every time I stand up today I get a splitting headache. If I sit still for a while it fades away, and then I either forget or optimistically think that this time it won't happen and stand up again and bam. Do not like.

Yikes, was just scouting possible places to stay on vacation in the next month or so, and while a set of B&B options looked pretty nice at first glance, I ran into multiple reviews that mentioned an overly nosy owner who freaked out unexpectedly on people (and publicly replied to their reviews with insults and rationalizations rather than apologies). Bullet dodged.

It is way too hot for me to be working in my bedroom or office upstairs. I'm in the living room and with the fan it's fine, but ugh.
Also: Law and Order SVU I love you but even with that, can't take "the internal review cops are awful mean people who hate Stabler and threatening to take him off the street because he was beating a subject is SO WRONG" after all the NYC police bullshit in reality.

I'm starting to find that in my line of work, I run into people who think they have to talk about certain subjects, and I can tell it's lip service to some political correctness that they think I want to hear. These are the same people who confuse the words "natural" with "safe" and "synthetic" with "evil planet destroying poison".
