I saw two meteors from my suburban porch last night! One was very long and bright.
I love sitting on my porch in the dark late at night. It fascinates me who all is out and about. Two bicyclists with extensive lights and sound systems went by, along with the usual clump of teenagers walking down the middle of the street and talking on their phones. Pedestrians will occasionally notice me, and they give me suspicious looks. I'm just sitting on my porch, dude, what are you up to at this hour?
