Nice, Suzi!
We don't do the ranking, at least not that I know of, but we do do a formal annual review and honestly it does not fit into our general corporate culture.

Comcast has not yet arrived in the guaranteed 7:30-8am window. I know you're all shocked.
So nice, Suzi!
We're in review season now, which is good times. At least we don't have ranking of any kind, or even any kind of numbers attached.
And now I'm waiting for the Comcast guy to find a parking space. 10 minutes late is better than I expected.
Well, the Comcast appointment is not going smoothly because of a screw in the electrical closet (ha ha!), but at least my truck o'stuff should be arrive by next Wednesday.
Edit: Whining seems to be expediting the process, but it would be nice if the installation would be done in time for me to catch a shuttle to the office.
Doesn't Comcast have a guarantee that you get money from them if they're late? I wonder if it only applies to tech support appointments, though, and not installation.
I'll have to check that out tonight. I have internet now, so I'm waiting on a work shuttle.
Paula Deen webinar about to start. I am watching mostly in case there is a disaster.
Timelies all!
Trying to set up child care is turning out to be more difficult than expected. We're on the waiting list for the NIH child care centers, but who knows how long that will take. Also investigating nanny agencies.(The problem there is that the adoption agency requires CPS clearances, which the nanny agencies don't seem to do.) I may have to take off more time than I planned.

A hard truth of parenthood, I'm afraid.
In San Francisco, the City itself lists all the daycare providers in a master list, so you may have a resource like that in your area as well.
Also, check with your work. Companies often have "concierge services" that people rarely take advantage of, but there might be some such set up with your workplace. You'd check with HR, or just look at the HR website.
