The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Not hating my job is nice.

YAY

I like Liese's idea.

Amazing.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Not hating my job is nice.

How wonderful!

I like Liese's idea.

Oh, me too! Ask Us Anything!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

The election ad from an Independent candidate from BC

Doesn't need the dragon and giant robot vote, I see.

Not hating my job is nice.

Yay!

I feel like we should start a "my opinion, let me show you it" tumblr in the vein of "yo, is this this racist" and let people ask us stuff and we can just tell them what we think.

Would we come to a consensus on what we think first? Or just all chime in like we do here? Or have whatever cabal happens to be in control of the tumblr that minute decide?

I can see merit in each.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I mean, I still need to offload some of my old responsibilities and I don't love some of the project management stuff I inherited in the new job, but "it's not my favorite" is a far cry from "I will burn everything down."

Worth celebrating.

I got a bonus pot of wheatgrass with my groceries today (a free sample from Grub Market). I do not know what to do with that.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Okay, phone call of the day! Colleague (male) in call center: "The patron wants to speak to a woman because she wants your opinion on some wigs and hairstyles." Me: "Okay, I am a woman..." Caller: "I wanted a lady's opinion on two separate wigs." So she told me how to find images online and I looked and gave her my opinion.

I would have been a little offended by the patron's request.

"But...I'm an expert!"

I offered it to Jadzia. She was not interested.

Possibly she was distracted by the scent of the shrimp I had just peeled. I will try again later. Meanwhile it's in the fridge, as there is a sticker on the pot that says to keep it refrigerated. I do not understand this stuff. Maybe there is not, in fact, dirt under there?

I want a pot of wheatgrass for my cats! Dang. I tried to grow some but failed, as I have no place in the house suitable to grow plants. My cats love munching on grass.
