GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I am sorry for you loss, Laura. Peace to you and your family.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, Laura. My love to you and your family.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

I'm sorry for your loss, Laura.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

My condolences, Laura.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Laura, I am so very sorry for your loss.

To those who chimed in with the restaurant recs - thank you all so much. I had not heard of Eater before and found Nora's entries without any trouble. What a great resource.

It's a good site! Although it tends to focus on the new and hot and not the classics. Maybe my favorite thing I ate in New Orleans last year was at Cochon Butcher, if you eat pork.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Maria, how was your hockey game? I love the Hershey Bears logo.

Hockey game was awesome, as usual. This is the team that made me fall in love with the sport back in high school. I've waffled about getting season tickets since I moved back to PA, and I finally pulled the trigger this year. Our seats are fantastic--five rows off the glass right behind the goal the Bears shoot at in the first and third. (K will probably appreciate that positioning more than you...)

Hershey is the oldest franchise in the AHL. They've been in existence since 1936, when they were known as the Hershey B'ars. They lead the league in attendance every year, and the fan base is rabid. I love it more than the NHL--more affordable, and the players are not yet at the stage of being jaded by big money contracts.

We just got home from tonight's game, in which the Wilkes-Barre Penguins won by penalty shot in OT on a bullshit hooking call. It's a great start to this year's rivalry. 36 home games left on the schedule!

It looks like you had fun! Our in-arena announcers actually made note of the Reign's unusual goalie situation last night.

Vonnie, I totally agree with Jesse. We were actually together for that meal, and I don't think there was real conversation once we had ordered. The rest of the time we were all "yum" and "mmmmm" and "OMG so good!"

For a fancier dinner, I do like Mieuxbar. I think that's actually on Nora's recs list.
