oof, Sara. I hear you on the aging parents thing. Dad has another neck/back surgery coming up and this week just had test because of elevated #s related to prostate something, but the Dr things that is not anything to be concerned about and will re-test in Dec. It's something with them about every other month now.

Just trying to hold it together here. Hoping my sister gets here in time. Her flight gets here midnight tomorrow.

I'm making dulce de leche by cooking a can of sweetened condensed milk, and I didn't want to use my huge cauldron, so I'm running back and forth every two minutes to make sure the water isn't too low. I guess it's exercise?

I am showering and heading out to the mall. mac needs some new clothes and JCP is having a huge sale.

I am...sitting around thinking I'm getting a cold? Which, boo. But I did just fill out my ballot. And if I can drag myself upstairs to change clothes I might go drop it off at the ballot box. Or not. Am supposed to have dinner with a friend, may just stare at Law and Order until then. Tried to watch "Timeless" but couldn't get into it. But did catch up on Jane the virgin

I have to make a cake this afternoon, but I've run a lot of errands (and also run 5 miles) today, and all I really want to do is watch the rest of the Hamildoc. Bah. Off to the store for eggs, milk, and yogurt...

I made a bunch of cookies for the fundraiser we're having tonight. Hope people show up!

Also, I found out that you can use plenti points at Macy's. We have a ton because we converted Amex points that had been gathering for a while so BOOOM! bought myself some black velvet leggings for my Hween costume. I'm going as my friend's black lab. (She's going as my dog and Bob's going as our other friend's big dumb golden retriever. Silly but fun!)
