Yikes, sarameg. My sympathies. It's hard for you and super scary for them, and you hope that at least that fear doesn't show up as anger (as it did for my mother). She will need more support going forward, and patience and understanding.
Yeah, that. Of course, in my family it was my father with dementia, but my mother was still the angry one....Let's hope it's just sleep apnea or something else that can be fixed.
Instead tonight I went to a live recording of Pop Culture Happy Hour, with special guest Mallory Ortberg! It was hella fun.
Jelly!!
billytea, the CD does come with extensive liner notes, but they were also made available as a PDF at some point, so I have that if you need it.

Thank you for that! I'm sure we'll be ok just using the internet until such time as we can get the CD.
sarame, what a tough situation. I hope that your mom can find a doctor who is keen on listening and sharp with the diagnostic ability.
Laura, I don't think I said good thoughts to you and your mom, but I thought them!
I am hanging out at the hospital now. It isn't good. They put her on a ventilator because of her respiratory issues. She has been unresponsive since the respiratory failure at 3:30 this morning. Her doctor says to give her 24 hours to see what happens then we can talk about doing neurological tests. So just hanging out. I sent my husband back home because he has his own family issues and needs to take care of stuff while I stay here. I'm okay. It isn't like a huge surprise considering her age and the issues she has had the last year. Just waiting to see if she can pull through.
Oh Laura, I'm so sorry. You and your mom are in my thoughts.
Laura, so much love to you. I'm hoping for the best.
