Yes--I have both IE and Firefox on my work computer because some of our older systems only work in IE, and some of our newer ones only work in Firefox! It's ridiculous.

Our wings are not tired.

My support life improved markedly after our software was moved off client computers to cloud based. I don't care what browsers or ridiculous programs they have anymore nor what security crap they install. As long as they have internet we are golden. (well they still manage to screw things up, but it is much more under my control)

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

The Hamilton doc is on PBS tonight, and can also be streamed: [link]

Punishingly Intricate

PBS' streaming service (which I donated $60 to use for watching Great British Bakeoff) has the Most Terrible Interface! Seriously unfriendly.

We use Gmail for email, which is not imho optimized for business.

We do as well and it's been a challenge for me after using Outlook for years and years. I hate, for example, that you can't set a reminder for an email. I used that for tasking all the time with Outlook. Who knew I'd be missing something as terrible as Outlook?!

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

The Hamilton doc is on PBS tonight

This isn't the *only* reason we ran out and bought a new TV when the old one died Tuesday, but it was a pretty big reason.

Our wings are not tired.

I have it scheduled to tape. Not sure if I will get to watch tonight.

So a few weeks ago Carl Lewis stopped by and spoke to and visited with a group of volunteers for Clinton here in Delray Beach, and I just got an email from our organizer that Madeleine Albright is visiting tomorrow. It is simply amazing how many people are on the ground working for Clinton visiting tiny volunteer offices.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Got my flu shot today at work.

Hahah, I'm watching ER from last week and totally guessed the Ehlers-Dalos because of Hil! No mystery at all! :)

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Because of the internet outage, evidently, our PBS listings are TBD--I have no idea which of our three PBS stations is running Hamilton tonight. I won't be able to watch real time, but I'd like to record it. Which I can't do till the dvr gets its stuff together and lets me. Or I can crouch tensely before the tv, remote in hand, and switch quickly back and forth between the three stations at 9:00 and hit 'record' when I find the right one. Probably what I'll have to do.
