Our wings are not tired.

So I stayed up past my bedtime for that. All I can say is one step closer to having the election behind us. G'night my peeps.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Douglas Macarthur and George Patton? Someone's been doing his homework! Way to watch that History Channel, buddy!

He ALWAYS names those two. It's like he's never heard of any other generals.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that's true...

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

He ALWAYS names those two. It's like he's never heard of any other generals.

Interesting that he picked two generals who wound up being relieved of command for an inability to avoid shooting their mouth off.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I livetweeted the debate while drinking. I feel oddly empowered. Trump blew up any small remaining chance he had at winning, so we're good.

Also, it's so darn good to see so many posts here.

Apparently all the media are losing their shit because Trump didn't promise to respect the results of the election.

And I'm all, WHAT DID YOU EXPECT? This is the guy who doesn't apologize to his wife. He thinks he's never done anything he needs forgiveness for. He's never failed a job interview. He's always gotten everything he wants because he's rich and vindictive. OF COURSE he isn't going to concede!

"I will tell you at the time. I will keep you in suspense."

He's priming his audience for next season. It's a cliffhanger!

(Colbert just said that too. I am not copying Colbert.)

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

I didn't see the debate because we were busy buying a new TV. But I am watching Colbert, which seems to be good enough.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Huh. Now I'm thinking about election night, and his (potential*) concession speech on election night.

Does he do it, and not really concede? Does Pence have to do it? Do we end up with hours of "why isn't he conceding already?" on the news?

Did you go outside, turn around three times, and spit?

(I would not have remembered that, but someone on Twitter posted a link to the scene recently. I miss the early days of Josh and Sam, and CJ and Toby.)
