Was going to watch the debate but got free tickets to "Beautiful, - Carole Kong musical" so my friend and I are doing that instead.
Sparky, what time of year? We didn't get to go south at all, though it's supposed to be amazing. We did super enjoy San Pedro de Atacama and the desert excursions we did--I'd give you our guide's info if you're interested, he was totally worth it. We enjoyed the sights in Valparaiso but it was kind of shady--we'd recommend staying in Vina Del Mar and taking the subway in for day viewing instead. And we had an AMAZING time at the wine harvest festival and enjoyed Curico, but that would very much depend on time of year.
Were you behind a table or desk, Scrappy? It's likely people didn't even notice. I've been on a few interview panels and I don't even really notice what people are wearing, unless they come really inappropriately dressed.
Oh, Scrappy. I have to believe that you were awesome and they didn't notice because of they were too busy listening to your smart words.
was not behind a table and I hope I was awesome.
If I had a dollar for every time one of my kids took off their socks and threw them out of the stroller, I could afford to replace all the socks my kids lost taking them off and throwing them out of the stroller.
(If I had a dollar for every time some busybody stopped me on the street to tell me my baby had taken off their socks/shoes/hat/gloves/pants, I would be able to replace all those lost socks with SOLID GOLD.)
Scrappy, IF anyone noticed, they just felt bad and did not think worse of you. But mostly no one noticed.
"Beautiful, - Carole Kong musical"
I know this is a typo, but that would be amazing! I really want to see that show. Also, someone I went to high school was nominated for a Tony for it!
Hahah. Kong, no. I'd not heard of it but a friend in chicago is dating the touring stage manager.
I am going to watch the debate tonight with a friend from out of town at the gay country club. There will be alcohol and bitchiness, should be fun.
Burrell, Calli, Birthday Happies to you!
As a non-parent, if I notice some kid has divested themselves of various items, my main form of comment is, "oops, here ya go" if the thing has been flung from whatever conveyance the young person is riding in and I am able to pick it up.
