I adore all you motherfuckers so much -- PMM.

If I remember correctly, Heart started life as a Led Zeppelin cover/tribute band, so their LZ covers are consistetly pretty amazing.

I'm glad you got to see them, Matt. It sounds like it was well worth it.

Also, yay for meeting the Clan of Tea! Lee and shrift, I'm envious.

One thing for starting the commute in the dark: Seeing the sun rise over SF Bay this morning was lovely.

Karl, it is wonderful to see your pixels and have you here to remind us of silver linings!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, yes! I have one crazy early day a week, and I actually look forward to it for the gorgeous sunrises -- work is exactly due east from home, so every now and then I get to bike or shuttle-ride straight into these amazing Maxfield Parrish skyscapes.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I do love seeing the sun rise over the Hudson* in the mornings, as much as I hate leaving before it does so.

We recently had blinds installed in all the bedrooms and it makes waking up early a million times harder. Stupid dark. Stupid commute.

*Or, for mornings when I'm not across the bridge by sunrise, reflected in the Hudson from the other side.

Art Crawl!!!

Happy Birthday ladies!!

I have not celebrated sockober in the traditional manner of my people, the knitters. I have been working on a scarf this month instead of socks.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I am almost caught up on Great British Bake Off. Now what will I use to destress?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Happy birthday, Calli!

Happy birthday, Burrell!

Hm, socks. Warm thick soft knee socks. I need to go shopping.

I was up before dawn this morning! I love hearing the night-time insects and animals and the waking-up birds in the pre-dawn hour. Early to bed and early to rise works best for my mental health, if only I could stick to that schedule.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Happy Birthdays!

In non-sequitur posting:

I somehow missed the more recent stuff about OJ, and I had no idea that Ron Goldman was SO YOUNG!!! He was 25. I somehow was picturing a 50 year old man this whole time.

Our wings are not tired.

I can't imagine wearing socks any time soon.

Happy birthday wishes to Calli and Burrell! May your days be filled with treats and may all around you spoil you adequately.

I am programmed to wake with the sun and although it rises later here than in much of this country, it is still later than I need so I am forced to get up in the dark. Boo.
