hip deep in pie

I went to pour myself a coffee and there was only water. I guess you have to add coffee to the filter, eh? Caught by the coffee conundrum again.

I think Eshakti use Purolater in Canada and they just leave things on my step. Actually it might of been them who tried to kill me by ringing my bell then putting the package between the door and leaving. I opened the door, saw him walking away and went to chase him down, tripping on the package I didn't look down to see.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Calli, I'm not sure what happened with your previous eshakti order, but I've ordered from them a bunch, and FedEx just leaves the packages by the door for me. Seems like the same rules should apply for you!

You'd think, amyth. Both the eShakti rep I talked to (repeatedly) and the FedEx support person I talked to had no idea why they wouldn't just leave it. But they wouldn't.

Maybe I could order for you?

poo n the poo hone

This sounds like the name of a toddler hip hop group's hit album.

Hah, hilarious and true!

Did a lot of dancing last night. Will probably need to nap later--classes don't start until 11am but I went to bed at 330 and woke up at 9 :(. Also :( is I was thinking maybe this girl and I were going to make out, -and we left the dance and got in the elevator together...and then this other dude got in the elevator and was on a higher floor than both of us so it was like "uh, ok, bye??" Sigh. I didn't quite have the chutzpah to say "let me walk you to your door!" Or some shit.

Thanks, amyth. It's kind of you to offer! But at the end of the day, if a mail order company can't work out a successful method of shipping their product to me, it's on them, and they don't get my business.

I theoretically like eshakti but their dresses have not fit, even custom, a couple of times, which bums me out.

Kat or other ehakti buyers -- is there any consistency to the ill-fittingness? Like, order a size up or down, or was it more random? I've never ordered from there, but I need some dresses, and those links last night started me looking, and there are so many I really like.

Because books.

I want the hoodie dress so much.

I want the hoodie dress so much.

It's fabulous. And pockets! They all have pockets. I want to cry with joy.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I've only bought 1 dress from them (and that was maybe 4 years ago), but my measurements matched up with the size chart and it fit perfectly. I've heard several people say they've gotten dresses that didn't fit well, though. Maybe it's a measurements thing, like if you're in-between sizes on the chart the fit might not be good?
