I don't think I'm gonna make it to any festivities today. It's hot, leaving the house seems like a lot of trouble, and talking to people is completely unappealing. Maybe I'll wander down and see the fireworks if it cools down, maybe I'll see what I can see from my porch.
Have gotten more dishes washed and read several short stories, though, so that's good.

OMG, my homemade guacamole is so damned good with my enchiladas. The guac is just slightly bitter. Perhaps it's because I put in too much salt. Will have to try again (darn it).
