I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Kat, that dress is gorgeous. Zenkitty, I agree with short, salt and pepper. If you don't like the salt and pepper, it's easy enough to dye it later.

I picked up material for my Halloween costume today. I'm dressing up as a maenad (chiton and fake leopard skin himation). i got a pedi with blood red toenails this morning, and I'll try and put together a thyrsus from a dowel, a pine cone, and some ivy.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Got my bed delivered at the new place. I feel very old and out of shape, because the delivery guy *jogged* up the steps with the mattress. Granted, it's a twin bed, but still!

No, that's totally show-off-y.

The greatest invention of the modern era is the ability to pay for internet purchases with Paypal, so you don't have to get up to get your wallet.

I have my credit card number memorized, because my brain works that way. (I also have my library card number memorized, because I use it more than I use my credit card.)

I picked up material for my Halloween costume today.

That sounds amazing. I'm seriously thinking about fantasy football (Bengals jersey and wizard hat), because I am too cheap to drop $60 for a Ghostbusters costume so I can be Holtzmann.

Because books.

I found a navy blue long-sleeved dress on sale at Old Navy, so I ordered that. I'm going to be Madeline! I can make a Peter Pan collar from a pillowcase, and I bought spray-on orange hair dye. I just have to figure out how to do the hat.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have my credit card number memorized, because my brain works that way.

When my credit card was being used fraudulently, I was mostly mad about getting a new card because I had had the number memorized, mostly because it was so easy. The new one is not so easy.

The fantasy football idea's clever!

Wow, Amy. Making collars intimidates me.

I am tempted to just wear my Hillary Shirt and go as "An Informed Voter".

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I have lost my Debit card so many times, I have realized that the first four numbers are the bank, and the second must be the region, because they are always the same. Unfortunately it means I only have the first eight numbers memorized!

First four are connected to what kind of card it is - visa/mastercard/etc., I'm pretty sure. From when I worked at the bank!
