Aw, poor Lucky and poor you!

Aw, so sad, Maria.

I'm at my dance convention. Rooming with folks from Atlanta, so I figured even though they were planning to not set an alarm and sleep in, they'd still probably be up before me. But no! I got up at 845, showered, dressed, and left for Starbucks before they got up! Next, a pedicure. But I'm already dreading Monday work that I know is piling up right now.argh.

Best wishes for Lucky, Maria. Can you set aside a room or floor or something where the puppy doesn't go so that Lucky can have her safe space? When I inherited my mom's senior cats, I was able to set aside a room with a heating pad and scratching post and multiple cat pans that the senior cats could have for their own. My own, younger, cats could go in and out when I was home, but when I went to work, I would close the door and they could feel secure.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I work from home so watching their interactions will be easier than if I didn't. Tess will also be crate-trained for when we do leave the house. A lot of it is going to depend on what she can do once she's home. Neither one of the cats likes to be locked in an enclosed space. They give me enough grief for the baby gate that blocks them from the master bedroom as it is, even though they have the rest of the house.

Thanks again, all. I went and visited her just a bit ago, and she really is doing better. I'm cautiously optimistic that it might turn out OK.

My nails are too ridged for stickers, although I've never tried them on top of polish, which might work. I probably still have some in the closet.
