Our wings are not tired.

I am low maintenance and am just as likely to go to the barber with DH or one of the boys.

I am unfollowing friends on FB because the crazy has gone into overdrive. Rewards for getting on TV claiming Bill is a rapist, calls for assassination, it is getting seriously ugly out there.

One of the commentators (Mark Halperin maybe) was discussing how completely pissed off the Trump supporters are going to be after they lose. They live in such a bubble being told that they are going to win by the narrow group they listen to, and they are not prepared. I know too many people who really think it is going to be President Trump. They believe this as strongly as they believe Clinton personally killed the men in Benghazi and is going going to take their guns. I worry about Hillary's safety more than ever.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Some Trump supporters are already calling for a revolution if Trump loses. I'm expecting much more talk of revolution after the election, because Trump is already telling everyone if he loses, it means the election was stolen.

Anyone remember back to the '12 election, when Obama won and Trump tweeted a call for revolution? (Trump quickly deleted the tweet.)

Our wings are not tired.

There are too many that just don't see it coming. Like otherwise sane people.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Some Trump supporters are already calling for a revolution if Trump loses.

I'm not pooh-poohing this, but that happened when Obama won, too. (Which, like you mentioned, was helped along by Trump.) People will be pissed, but I don't think there will be a revolution.

I worry about Hillary's safety more than ever.

I do, too, but OTOH, our POTUS for nearly 8 years has been a black man in a country with a wide racist streak, and I think the Secret Service has just been continually upping their game. They have to.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

My old boss is in the office and has been talking fantasy football for 30 min. Now he just said "I gotta get home and practice tonight, I've got the cornhole tournament this weekend. When I was playing I would get at least three in so I gotta practice and make sure I'm ready." LIKE THERE IS SOME COMPETITIVE CORNHOLE LEAGUE AROUND HERE! OMG WHAT IS THIS WORLD! Y'all I gotta get out.

I don't think we'll see a revolution either, but it's gonna be worse than '12. More people are now convinced Hilary and the Democrats are going to steal the election and destroy America if they get the chance.

Maybe we'll see large protests with guns.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Open carry laws are a lot worse in some states. Like mine, ha ha.

brillig

I imagine there will be small points of intense unpleasantness, with people screaming and waving guns, but nothing widespread. I was expecting actual attempts on Obama's life, and I don't know if they didn't materialize or if the Secret Service is kicking back in their breakrooms smirking about the assholes they grabbed before they got too far.

It's easy to scream when there's a camera, there are fewer who are willing to grab their guns and explosives and hop in their truck to go commit mayhem (though many of them live in my time zone).

It feels very tinderboxy out there.

I have a very uncomplicated set of hairs on my head and have been going to a nearby Hair Cuttery for several years. Never ended up at the only man's station there until this last time. He always seemed deeply unhappy to be there, which made me a little hesitant, what with the scissors and all, but he was up in the rotation. Still seemed grumpy, but it was a great cut that has grown out really well - three months! Guess I'm going back to him soon.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

"I gotta get home and practice tonight, I've got the cornhole tournament this weekend. When I was playing I would get at least three in so I gotta practice and make sure I'm ready." LIKE THERE IS SOME COMPETITIVE CORNHOLE LEAGUE AROUND HERE! OMG WHAT IS THIS WORLD! Y'all I gotta get out.

Anytime someone says "cornhole" to me (and they say it a surprising non-zero amount?) I say, "DO YOU MEAN BEANBAG TOSS?? I thought so." And then I maybe go on a rant about La Croix water. Because we have our own regional stuff here!
