That's a lot more than me, msbelle!

This weekend I...went dancing and then to karaoke; had a headache all day Saturday but managed to make some quinoa salad and then went to goodwill where I bought nothing and totally forgot to bring the clothes I was going to donate. Today I had brunch with a friend, and went to a different goodwill and still bought nothing. ....oh, and one load of laundry.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Yeah, that's also way more than me. I got out of the way while the house was shown, I got a haircut, and this morning I went grocery shopping. I had planned to do laundry tonight, but nooooo.

Old mattress set now in the basement until I can get a hauler. Oddly, it was the boxspring that was easiest. A neighbor helped with the floppy unwieldy mattress. And I made a list of things I still want done before the parents arrive. Complicated by the fact this is marathon weekend, so I won't be going anywhere not walkable on Saturday until late. At least the list involves a lot of laundry?

More than I did, too. I chilled Saturday and watched a couple of movies; today I did some work and I did clean a little bit - and did some laundry. (Well, re-did; I threw it in a few days ago and sort of forgot. Oops.)

I have more work work to do, and I have a serious case of the don't wannas. I'm at the, "If I go to bed early, I can get up early..." point of my rationalization. We'll see how it goes.

Also, hi, sj! And yes, sharing pictures of other people's kids without permission is not on.

Today I went for a run, then visited Dad, set up a tab for him at the diner around the corner, and then went to CVS, BevMo, and the natural foods store to buy supplies for the annual fruitcake. And then I took a nap, so not a lot of production.

Now I have to run around the corner and buy some milk, change the sheets, set the fruit up to soak in brandy overnight, and then I think I'm going to skip the debate and go see The Queen of Katwe because Lupita N'yongo will make me feel better than Trump does.

Actual debate bingo card. I'm psyched. And tempted to play more than one card, in honor of my grandmother.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I had a very Mom weekend - yesterday I took the kids shopping for their Scouting uniforms, and today I put together a set of bunk beds. (I almost got D a violin for orchestra on top of everything, but the store was closed.)

Apparently Trump is holding a press conference with Paula Jones, Juanita Broadrick, and Katherine Willey, who have all accused Bill Clinton of sexual assault (or worse) in the past. They're going to be sitting in the front row at the debate.

I seriously cannot even.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I seriously cannot even.

I was just about to post that. I know it's a last-ditch pathetic ploy to rattle Hillary, but come on -- of all things, THIS is something she has to have been prepared for right from the start. She HAS to have been.

Also, I think this is going to backfire on Trump spectacularly. If you come at the Queen, you best not miss.
