Not that I wanted the job (in Cincy)
But living here would have been awesome!
so the nice hairdo only lasts until I get home.
I don't even have my stylist style my hair after she cuts it, because I don't care for the way she styles it even though it's a great cut. Weird, huh?
Which reminds me that I'm getting my hair cut Saturday for the first time since April (no, really; working from home means I really ain't give a fuck), and I don't know if I should get it trimmed to above my shoulders or just go for a much shorter cut. I'm super tired of my hair. It's way too damn long. I should take a picture before I get it cut, because it hasn't been this long in ages.
I've been getting my hair cut on my lunch break for a while now, and one of the upsides to that is the office gets to see the styled hair that I cannot reproduce. Not that I try that hard, but it looks great in the salon. It always gets a little windswept as soon as i'm out the door, because that's life in Suisun, but it's still pretty good for the rest of the day. And I might not wash it the next morning if it takes being slept on well.
I like having my hair styled after a cut. I know I'll never be able to reproduce the look and sometimes I'm not thrilled with the way she does it, but hey - new ideas to strive for sometimes. If I really hate it, I spray some water on it and the curls take over.
I hate the way my hairdresser styles my hair. You would think that if I got in EVERYTIME with it natural and wavy that I like it that way, but no, she blows it out and poofs it up in back like some weird pageant mom or something.
My first meeting started at 7am today and my last meeting just ended a few minutes ago. Now I am going to login and do some work on my Stanford course. I think I deserve a gold star for today.
I don't know if I should get it trimmed to above my shoulders or just go for a much shorter cut.
Go shorter! I mean, if that's what you want. I haven't regretted whenever I've told my stylist to chop it all off.

Is there a lot of mom hair where you're at, msbelle? Or, like, Texas hair? I notice the mom hair when I visit suburbs, with the streaks and the stacked hair, like a uniform for your head.
oh yeah. lots of striping. lots of DONE hair.
Yeah, I was going to say that sounds like Texas hair.
I have half a pie in my kitchen. Will it make it to the office tomorrow? Probably...
The bigger the hair, the closer to God.
Oh, oh, oh....we need to pool our money for this castle!
