ION, housemate has officially moved out. For the first time in over 30 years, I'm living alone. It's nice to wander around the house in whatever I want to (not) wear, but it's become even more clear that this is way too much space for me. The house is storage that I fit myself around, it's not space where I live.

Connie, this really is an exciting and transformative time. All big and tiny decisions only have to please you, not parents, not spouse, not kids, not housemates. It is huge. It can be super unsettling at times, but mostly it should be satisfying. I'm excited for you building your new nest.
