Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Always Anti-fascist!

Might watch some, but if I get restless, Twitter will help me know what's what.

Our wings are not tired.

I have to watch it only because I don't want to see the same maybe 5 15 second clips over and over and over again and miss the actual substance.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

TCG will want to watch the debate. I will require wine or possibly gin.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'll be watching football. So, possibly also suffering.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

There is a watch party in my neighborhood that I've said I'd go to. I need to meet more like minded folks near me, so I'm going to give it a shot.

Librarian Warlord

I can't decide about the debate.

In excellent news, my copies of Cloudbound have shipped, so I will be able to take a copy to Paris and Kraków for pictures.

Punishingly Intricate

I'm watching at our friends bar, where the heckling will be on point, but I'm pretty anxious about it.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm very anxious about the debate. Like Gud said, the bar is a lot lower for Trump. He just has to appear "dominant" and he'll win; Hilary has to stay relaxed. Between his utter idiocy and her awkward body language when she's tense, I don't know how long I can stand to watch it.

I've now used a whole box of Kleenex.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Part of me feels like there's no way Trump can stay on message, and he'll lose his tiny little mind and start spewing nasty bigoted stuff. (Of course, the people who are going to vote for him love that, but those people were NEVER going to be swayed to vote for Clinton.) I mean, he can't even stick to the teleprompter at speeches that were written ahead of time, that he (in theory) was able to practice, or at least read over before stepping behind the podium.

But then, yeah -- *if* he manages to stay on message and doesn't explode like a pressure cooker full of hate, that will probably count as a "win." (How is THAT the bar we're setting for our POTUS? Even George W. Bush had a higher bar to clear than "Don't say bigoted stuff in front of a hot microphone.")
